Project Owner’s Engineer
The scope includes installation of black liquor evaporators, a recovery boiler, a bubbling fluidized bed (BFB) bark and waste fuel boiler, multiple steam turbine generators, relocation of woodyard, various site work activities and new office buildings. A new control room will be added and will provide operators with access to DCS system for control of operations. Utilizing best available control technology “BACT” for air emission control will be implemented throughout the new line, including HVLC and LVHC gases incinerated to the Recovery Boiler as primary with a thermal oxidizer and a SO2 scrubber as back up incineration.
