Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation, control systems, and automation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration and functionality of control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and develop instrumentation and control systems for manufacturing processes.
– Create detailed engineering documentation, including control schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
– Program and configure control systems and automation equipment.
– Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of control systems.
– Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
– Perform regular maintenance and updates to control systems to ensure optimal performance.
– Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
– Proven experience in instrumentation and controls engineering.
– Proficiency in control system design and implementation.
– Strong understanding of instrumentation and automation principles.
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
– Certification in Control Systems Engineering (CSE) or related credentials.
– Experience in the manufacturing industry.
– Knowledge of process control systems and instrumentation.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
